Telegram ads TON or a euro account: what to settle first

Telegram ads TON payment is the only route where the account is yours alone. You fund ads.telegram.org through Fragment from a TON wallet, with a minimum CPM of 0.1 Toncoin. A euro account is a reseller's cabinet billed with commission and VAT, from €250 at eLama. Neither route refunds unspent balance.

People search for telegram ton ads, ton ads telegram or telegram euro ads as if these were three products. They are one product: the sponsored message Telegram shows at the bottom of public channels with 1,000 or more subscribers. What differs is who you pay, who holds the balance afterwards, and who answers when an ad sits in review for a week. This page is about those three things. It doesn't cover ad copy or bidding strategy. For the price side on its own, see what the official ad platform publishes about CPM and budgets.

Every rule quoted below comes from Telegram's own pages (the Ad Platform guide, its Terms of Service, the Ad Guidelines and the Stars API reference), Fragment's ads page, or a reseller's published terms. We read all of them on 18 October 2026. When we checked, we saw that none of Telegram's ad pages mentions EUR. Every euro figure on this page is a reseller's figure and is labelled that way.

Which wallet should fund your Telegram ads: TON, a euro account or Stars?

Pick TON if you can hold crypto and want the account in your own name, a euro account if your finance team needs an invoice, and Stars if a channel or bot you own has already earned them. The ad itself is identical in all three cases.

The deciding question isn't price. It's who holds the balance once it is paid in. On the TON route, the balance sits in your own Telegram ad account, under Telegram's terms. With a euro account, the money sits with a reseller first and then in a cabinet the reseller set up, under two contracts at once. With Stars, the balance never leaves Telegram: you spend what the channel earned. Fees, rights and who answers your questions all follow from that. If you are still deciding whether Telegram is worth paying for at all, our note on what Telegram and Premium cost by themselves separates the free app from the paid extras. Buying a post straight from a channel admin is a fourth route that skips the ad platform entirely, covered in paying channel and group admins for placements.

What does a Telegram ads euro account change, and what stays the same?

A telegram ads euro account changes the paperwork, not the ad. It is still a cabinet on Telegram's ad platform. The difference is that a reseller opened it and pays into it, then bills you in euros. eLama's February 2026 top-up guide lists two ways in: direct, with a minimum budget of €2 million, of which €1 million is frozen as a deposit, or through a reseller from €250. eLama's own payment adds a commission on the top-up and 22% VAT. Its November 2023 notice put the first launch at €366 for most topics (€250 + €50 commission + €66 VAT). It also says eLama registers the account within a day and credits top-ups within a day, not counting weekends.

Click.ru, eLama and Netpeak: what a telegram ads euro cabinet involves

That direct threshold is why "telegram ads euro cabinet" and "telegram eur ads account" usually mean a reseller cabinet. Click.ru, eLama and Netpeak are agency names searchers pair with Telegram Ads. We found eLama's terms in writing. We did not find published Telegram Ads terms for Click.ru or Netpeak, so we quote no numbers for them; ask either one for its contract before you pay. What does not change: the ad formats and image sizes and examples for each placement, the review, and the guidelines. The audience doesn't change either. Telegram's user counts by country show where the views can come from, whichever currency paid for them. Higher reseller commissions for crypto and education land hardest on crypto and web3 projects building a community.

How do you pay for Telegram ads with TON without losing the coin on the way?

Log in at ads.telegram.org, open Budget, choose Add Funds on Fragment, connect a TON wallet and confirm the amount. The coin goes from your wallet to your ad balance in one transfer that cannot be reversed.

How to pay for Telegram ads safely mostly means checking the order of steps. Fragment's ads page sets it out:

  1. Install a TON wallet. Fragment names Tonkeeper and MyTonWallet.
  2. Buy the coin on an exchange (Fragment names OKX and Bybit) or with a bank card through a listed service. Any identity check at this step is the exchange's, not Telegram's.
  3. Send the coin from the exchange to your wallet, not straight to Fragment.
  4. On the ad platform, choose Budget, then Add Funds on Fragment, and connect both Telegram and TON there.
  5. Confirm the amount in the wallet app and check that the balance appears under the right account.

Telegram ads fragment and toncoin: two naming traps

Two naming traps cause most of the telegram ads toncoin confusion. Telegram's front page now says you pay "with Gram". The getting-started guide still prices the CPM floor in Toncoin. Both words name the same coin. The telegram ads fragment step is also where account choice matters. ToS clause 4.1 makes it "the sole responsibility of the Advertiser" to fund the correct account, and a balance can't be moved between a personal account and an organization later. Fragment also handles the channel ad-revenue payouts and their requirements, so the same wallet often serves both sides. If you're comparing payment systems in general, how sellers accept payments inside Telegram covers the merchant side, and the main ways channel owners earn on Telegram covers the creator side.

What does a CPM in TON actually buy on Telegram ads?

A telegram ads cpm in ton is your bid for one thousand views, and 0.1 Toncoin is the lowest bid the platform accepts. The Ad Platform guide calls this "the price for one thousand views", and the ToS describes an auction: the ad runs "whenever the Advertiser's CPM bid wins the Auction" for a slot. So a cpm in ton telegram ads floor tells you what you're allowed to bid, not what will win. Telegram publishes no average winning CPM.

Part of how to set up Telegram ads is knowing which choices lock in, because they change what a bid costs you later. Targeting can't be edited after the ad is created; you clone it with "Create a similar ad". An ad's budget can be raised but not lowered. Deleting the ad returns the unspent part to your overall balance, not to your wallet. The ad carries 160 characters and a link to a channel or bot, never an external site. That means the bot or channel at the end of the link has to do the converting. A chatbot that answers the moment someone presses Start turns paid views into conversations. Inline buttons under its first message give people something to tap. And clean message formatting keeps that first reply readable on a phone.

Who can ask you for KYC documents, and when?

Telegram can ask any advertiser for legal-status documents at any time and pause the ads until they arrive. Exchanges run their own identity checks when you buy the coin, and resellers collect company details before they open a euro cabinet.

There's no fixed telegram ads kyc step at sign-up. Logging in needs only a Telegram account and a confirmation message. The power sits in the Ad Platform Terms of Service, clause 3.2(d): Telegram may request "constitutional documents, tax numbers, residency and related details, powers and rights of representatives", and suspend service until it is satisfied. Clause 3.2(c) adds licences and permits for regulated goods. So the checks come when something prompts them, usually a regulated topic, a large balance or a review flag. They aren't a form you fill in up front.

In practice there are three possible document requests, one per party in the chain:

Who can run a check on a Telegram advertiser, and when (Ad Platform ToS 3.2, Fragment ads page, eLama top-up guide; read 18 October 2026)
PartyWhen it asksWhat it can want
Crypto exchangeWhen you buy the coinIts own identity check, under its own rules
ResellerBefore it opens a euro cabinetCompany details for invoicing and VAT
TelegramAny time, at its discretionLegal-status papers, tax numbers, residency, licences

Keep one company's details consistent across all three. A business that already runs Telegram Business features for its customer chats usually has the matching name and profile ready. A team juggling several personal numbers has a harder time, for the same reasons covered in why account count matters for bulk messaging. Our own frequently asked questions explain what we ask clients for before a campaign, and why.

Can you get a Telegram ads refund or withdraw TON from the balance?

No, not from Telegram. ToS clause 4.3 says unspent balance "cannot be withdrawn by the Advertiser, transferred to a different Account, or refunded". Clause 4.4 adds that a balance left inactive for three years is forfeited. So a telegram ads refund request to Telegram has no clause to rest on, and telegram ads withdraw ton isn't a feature that exists. The only movement allowed is back into your own overall balance when you delete an ad.

With a euro account, any refund depends on the reseller's contract, not Telegram's. The reseller can return money it hasn't yet sent on to Telegram if its terms say so. Read that clause before the first transfer, not after. "Telegram ads ton free" offers deserve the most suspicion: Telegram's pages describe no free credit or bonus balance. The one free thing is publishing an ad with no budget "to get a feel for the platform", and such an ad shows to nobody. Stars ad accounts get a discount, not free money. The Stars API reference says owners pay with earned Stars "at a special rate with a 30% discount", via Buy Ads in the Balance or Monetization section. Non-refundable is the norm in growth spending generally. It applies equally to bought subscribers and members and to SMM panel orders, which also break Telegram's rules.

Why are Telegram ads not working or stuck in review?

Most stalled ads are one of four things: review with no deadline, an empty or mismatched destination, a balance too low to serve, or a CPM that loses every auction. The status label tells you which one you have.

Telegram ads stuck in review is the hardest case, because nothing is wrong yet. Clause 3.2(a) says Telegram "shall not be bound by any time frames" when it reviews. The table maps each status to what you can actually do.

Telegram Ads status and what to check (Ad Platform guide statuses, Ad Guidelines section 4; read 18 October 2026)
What you seeLikely causeWhat to do
In Review for daysQueue; no deadline under ToS 3.2(a)Wait; editing text may restart the check
DeclinedGuideline breach, often the destinationOpen the ad, read the linked rule, fix, resubmit
StoppedNo budget, or budget spentRaise the ad budget or add funds
Active, almost no viewsCPM losing auctions, or narrow channel listRaise CPM or clone with more channels
"Your balance is too low"Account unfunded; ad saved as draftAdd Funds, then publish the draft

Destination rules decline more ads than copy does. Guidelines section 4 wants a profile image and a full description, a channel with a post in the two weeks before review, and the same language in the ad, the target channels and the destination. Scheduling a few channel posts in advance covers the two-week rule. The link must go to a channel or bot. If your community lives in a group, read how groups and supergroups differ and pair it with a channel. If ads still underdeliver, organic ways to grow a channel cost nothing per view.

Where does a Telegram ads support question actually go?

Telegram's ad pages publish no telegram ads support chat, email or response time. Each ad's status page explains a decline and links the guideline it broke, and that is the official feedback channel. For account problems with Telegram itself, the general route is the support form at telegram.org/support. Treat any unofficial account offering "telegram ads support" in your DMs as a likely scam, especially if it asks for a wallet seed phrase or login code.

A euro account is where support improves. eLama's terms promise help at every launch stage, including up to 10 ads and channel selection, from a named manager who works for the reseller, not Telegram. When a question is really about running a community rather than buying reach, the answers live elsewhere. That might be community management strategy and the metrics to watch, whether Telegram or Discord suits the community, or a wider comparison of community platforms.

Better uses of the money than Telegram Ads

Telegram Ads sells reach in channels. It doesn't sell conversations, and guidelines clause 5.11 bars ads for services that "facilitate unsolicited communications". Some goals fit it badly. If you already have an opted-in list, talking to those people directly is cheaper than paying for views. Messaging and conversational marketing explains that shift. What Telegram mass DM actually is and sending bulk messages the compliant way cover the mechanics. Mass DM compared with email marketing sets the channels side by side.

Direct messaging comes with its own rules. Read Telegram's sending limits and flood waits, the restriction on messaging non-contacts and how to avoid bans in mass DM before you send anything. Cold DMs and DM automation get their own warnings. Member adders carry more risk than they appear to. A shared folder via an addlist link is a gentler way to hand people several channels at once. If you'd rather not build it yourself, compare mass messaging services and platforms, see how our managed process runs, or look at the Telegram mass DM bot and the mass DM sender.

FAQ

Is there a minimum deposit for Telegram ads in TON?

Telegram publishes no minimum deposit for the self-serve TON route. The only published floor is a minimum CPM of 0.1 Toncoin per thousand views, and an ad without a budget can be saved but shows to nobody.

Can I open a Telegram euro ads account directly with Telegram?

eLama's February 2026 guide puts direct access at a 2 million euro minimum budget with 1 million euro frozen as a deposit. Telegram's own pages give no euro terms, so most advertisers who want euro invoicing use a reseller.

Are Toncoin and Gram the same thing for paying Telegram ads?

Yes. Telegram's ad platform front page now says you pay with Gram, while its getting-started guide still prices the minimum CPM in Toncoin. Both names refer to the same coin on the TON network.

Can I pay for Telegram ads with Stars?

Only if you own a channel or bot that has earned Stars. The Stars API reference says owners can buy ads for their own channels or bots from the Balance or Monetization section at a 30% discount.

Will Telegram refund my unused ad balance?

No. Clause 4.3 of the Ad Platform Terms says unspent balance cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another account or refunded, and clause 4.4 forfeits it after three years of inactivity. A reseller may have its own refund terms for money it has not yet passed on.

How long does Telegram ads review take?

Telegram does not say. Clause 3.2(a) of its Terms states that it is not bound by any time frames when reviewing ads, so an ad can stay In Review for days with nothing wrong with it.

Does Telegram ask for KYC to run ads?

Not at sign-up. Clause 3.2(d) lets Telegram request legal-status documents such as constitutional documents, tax numbers and residency details at any time and pause ads until they arrive. Exchanges and resellers run their own checks separately.

Is there an official Telegram ads support chat?

Telegram's ad pages publish no support chat, email or response time. A declined ad links the guideline it broke, account issues go through telegram.org/support, and resellers give euro-account clients a named manager.
